In here you will only find bootlegs or albums that are unreleased or out of print. Please tell me if any of these are in print and I will remove them. Reply with some comments if you like what you hear, so I can get some idea if anybody is actually using this feature, cheers.

The Mystick Krewe of Clearlight demos.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clearlight
It has members of EHG, down and crowbar. Great, great stuff. Download it.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=INKUJV4C

If anybody wanted the track names for the Clearlight demos here they are:

9. Swamp Jam Demo
10. El Nino Brown Demo Ft. Pepper Keenan
11. Cheatin' Woman Cover Ft. Pepper Keenan
12. Duck Duck Pelican (DDP)
13. Ride Out Demo

11. Iron Claw/Antrobus - DISMORPHOPHOBIA – 1970-1974 (UK) hard rock/proto metal Added 20/04/08
Part 2
Part 1
I just found this today and it's prime Sabbath influenced prog/doom/hardrock, absolutely fuckin great if your into this kinda stuff. It has a whole range of sounds from straight doom to flute infused prog to straight rock. I don't think it was ever officially released and these are a bunch of master tapes that were eventually posthumously bootlegged on CD in the 90's. I don't think they ever finalised a band name so some times they are refered to as Iron Claw or Antrobus. It really is some fucking great stuff, I just gotta share the goodness. Download part 2 first as it's smaller and means you won't have to wait so long to get part 1 (bullshit rapidshare wait times etc.)

10. Captain Buzzkill and the Bringdowns - The Sludge Eater EP Added 16/04/08
New EP from a kiwi band.

9. Raging Slab - From a southern space Added 14/04/08
Do you like Southern Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Zakk Wyld's earlier stuff & Pride & Glory, and the idea of Black Crowes doing the occaisional sabbath cover? This band should suit you down to the ground. This is a lost album that was never released by them.

8. Vulcan - 1978 - Meet your ghost Added 13/04/08
Quote:
...a monster private psych LP from Iowa. Recorded in 1978, Vulcan is Lyle Steece, and this is his one-man-against-the-universe-rock-album. Dedicated to Jimi Hendrix, this features real primitive basement-psych guitar rock that is outrageously fucked, inspirational, distortion-overloaded and massively mindblowing. Of course, others just say it's dull and poorly played."

Interesting stuff, It's totally saturated in fuzz and has a style that sounds more like 90's fuzzrock/stoner rock. ahead of it's time stuff.

7. Sunnshine - collection Added 23/03/08
Absolutely great stoner rock super group with (ex)members of ATP, Buzz.oven and throttlerod. Here's a collection of their stuff, i'd consider this essential listening. Great for Down, Solace, Soundgarden, Orange Goblin, Alabama Thunderpussy and southern rock fans.

6. 35007 - Live @ Roadburn stoner fest, Netherlands Added 24/02/08
Crushing psychadelic excellence from these dutch cosmonauts. Great sound quality. AWESOME.

5. Acrimony - 1995 - Acid Elephant EP Added 05/02/08
An awesome EP release by the welsh godfathers of stoner rock.

4. Unida - 2001 - The Great Divide (their lost album) Added 17/01/08
Due to corporate bullshit, this album was never released. here it is.
Part 1, Part 2
Enjoy.

3. SloBurn - 1999 - Amusing the Amazing. Added 07/01/08
Short lived project featuring John Garcia after kyuss split.

Thanks for posting the Unida album- this has been a glaring omission from my collection for some time now.

The newer stuff without John under the House of Broken Promises banner is worth a look too, if anyone hasn't checked them out yet. Cheers!

What I've heard on the House of Broken Promises myspace is pretty solid. I had wondered if Arthur Seay hanging around the Slipknot crowd (he was or is a roadie of theirs) was gonna be of detriment, but it hadn't seemed to have influenced what he's done. I agree they're worth checking out for sure.

Doubt this is easy to find in NZ but it's the latest album by longtime doom metallers Trouble, Simple Mind Condition (2007)

http://rapidshare.com/files/63193554/T-SMC---Zimm.rar

Let me know if you want anymore by them as I have most of their stuff on my computer.

Times of Grace was my first Neurosis album. As a teenager in New Plymouth, looking through the metal section of the only decent music store in town, I saw the cover and it just stood out among all the silly gore and dragon type stuff. Pretty much bought it based on that and had my mind blown... Shocked

Heres an album by a NZ band from the early 70's, it's more psych than stoner but it's worth a look.

Cheers, any old obscure kiwi rock is greatly accepted. Ha Ha sounds like the title of a Spinal Tap LP!

I spose you are familiar with Space Farm and Human Instinct?

Ah, slighly forgotten memories.
